  • Mac

The desktop app tracks the app and window in front of you, runs focus sessions, and can block apps and sites during a session.

Version 1.0.0 · macOS 11 Big Sur or later

    1. 1 Open the downloaded .dmg and drag ClockZen into Applications.
    2. 2 Open ClockZen and sign in with your ClockZen account.
    3. 3 Grant the permissions macOS asks for so ClockZen can see the active app.
  • Chrome

The extension records the active tab’s domain and title so browser time shows up in the same report as your apps.

Early build 2.0.0 · Chrome or another Chromium browser · installed manually

    1. 1 Unzip the download into a folder you will keep.
    2. 2 Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
    3. 3 Choose “Load unpacked”, select the folder, then sign in from the extension.
  • Android

With your permission, the Android app reads usage time per app so your phone counts toward the same day.

Version 2.0.0 · direct APK download, not from Google Play

    1. 1 Open the APK on your phone and allow installs from your browser if Android asks.
    2. 2 Sign in with your ClockZen account.
    3. 3 Turn on mobile tracking and grant Usage Access when prompted.
  • Web

Reports, settings, and a focus timer in any modern browser. The web app shows what your trackers recorded; on its own it cannot see other apps.

    Nothing to install

Windows and Linux desktop apps are not available. On those systems, use the Chrome extension for browser time and the web app for reports.
